Goguts: The Dead, the Overlord of Hell

The game of the Wombat Network. Goguts is a 2D 2D platform game with a 2D side-scrolling feel, featuring a 2D side-scrolling, platform game. It was released for the Sega Genesis in 1994 and later ported to the Genesis CD in 1996.
Goguts has a heavy sci-fi theme, with a lot of action and minimalistic graphics.
Gameplay

Goguts is a 2D platform game, with a 2D side-scrolling gameplay. The game has 3 levels. The player starts the game with a short, standard game and a few "bosses" (a la The Overlord of Hell). After that, the player moves on to the next level with a full-on campaign.
The game's 3 boss fights can be found in each level, along with a game-ending boss fight. The boss fight is a little over-the-top, with a little girl in the form of a dog.
Goguts came to the Sega Genesis, Saturn and Nintendo DS in 1994.
Story

Goguts is a young boy and the last of the Wombat Network's six members to die. He has been kidnapped by the Overlord of Hell. After escaping the Overlord's prison, he has to navigate his way through seven levels of Hell. The Overlord keeps the rope for himself with which Goguts is stuck in. After the rope is pulled, the final boss of the game is reached, a giant monster that can move and attack at the same time.
Goguts has to fight through seven levels in order to find the last boss.

Bob
Bob is the main character of the game.Bob's name initially appears in the title screen, but in the game he is referred to as "Bob".Bob is a small robot, with a large head and a large heart.
